To gather as many practitioners, instructors, researchers and educators in outdoor recreation and education fields from all over the country and abroad in a warm and friendly symposia environment sharing their current knowledge and issues in outdoor recreation & education.

The main goal of this year conference is to gather as many practitioners, instructors, researchers and educators in outdoor recreation and education fields from all over the country and abroad in a warm and friendly symposia environment. In addition, the conference provides great opportunities for all practitioners to share their current knowledge and issues in outdoor recreation & education body of knowledge

 

THE 2ND MALAYSIAN INTERNATIONAL OUTDOOR RECREATION & EDUCATION CONFERENCE (MOREC 2012)

 

The Malaysian Outdoor Recreation & Education Conference (MOREC) is primarily sponsored by the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports and jointly organized by the Malaysian public institution of higher learning. This year the 2nd MOREC will be hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim, Perak.

 

Conference will be held from December 28th to 30th 2012. This conference aims to foster relationship and linkage among recreational players from all walks of life and educational backgrounds. MOREC provides the foundation for all outdoor recreational players to gather and meet to determine direction of outdoor recreation in Malaysia and Asia Pacific region in the near future.

All papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference and selected papers will be published in the first edition of Malaysian Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Education (MAJORE).

(Outdoor recreation NGO's exposition, adventure gear & services exposition)

3. Outdoor adventure activities

(2nd UPSI Mountainbike Jamboree (expected to attract more than 1500 MT Bikers) & Malaysian

Outdoor Instructors' Award dinner)
